John, more commonly known as SPARTAN-117 or 'Master Chief', is one of Hellcat Squadran's military commanders. He commands Ash, Johnson, and Miranda Keyes.

One thing that was noted is that John tends to keep his word when he gives it to someone. John is also known to show an exceptional care for soldiers under his command, a trait he and IceBite seem to share.
